Theodoros Papagiannis, founder of TP Structural Engineers was an important member of the structural design team of The Asteroid while working as a senior structural engineer at Dion. Toumazis & Associates.  The Asteroid was set to be one of the tallest and most futuristic office towers in Nicosia. A very challenging and iconic project!

Theodoros was involved in all stages of the design of the project, from conceptual design through to detailed structural/workshop drawings, performing the structural analysis and design of the foundations (Raft foundation on piles), Analysis, Design and detailing of the Reinforced Concrete frame superstructure consisting of  two basements and 16 floors.  The main feature of the building, "Raking columns", have been placed at the North and South elevations of the building forming curved surfaces where the glass curtain walls are accommodated. The stability of the building is ensured through a reinforced concrete core located at the centre of the building. Theodoros was also appointed the analysis and design of  the structural steel parts of the building as the Veranda at the North Side, the Lobby at the East and the structural steel canopy at roof level.

1423 - Robotower
A Structural Steel Building with a reinforced concrete basement to accommodate offices restaurants and cafeterias in the heart of Limassol. The building consists of two components, 4-storeys at the East and 6-storeys with a roof pergola at the last floor to be used as a cafeteria,at the West hand side respectively.
